Exciting day – gretasdrawer.com turns 1 year old today – wowsa!

I seriously cannot believe it has been one year already, probably because I am having so much fun writing and sharing this little passion of mine with all of you :) It is just a hobby really and I would have never thought that you’d pass by almost 20.000 times – say whaaaat? – til today.

Greta’s drawer indeed

May I introduce you to my new interior best friends?

Meet Greta’s new drawer and its companion, Mr. Old School Radio. They were in between the very first items to enter my new home in Oldenburg, northern Germany, a couple of weeks ago. They were so cold and lonely on that breezy Sunday afternoon in early November at the flea market, so I have rescued them. I almost feel like a hero.

Don’t they both just look heavenly?

They might not be sleeping in the same room – Miss Drawer might welcome our guest in the front door hallway, while Mr. Radio will most likely swing it in the living room. But they don’t mind, as long as they can stay together under the same roof. :-)

Can’t wait to get them acquainted with Mrs. Sleek Kitchen and Mr. Minimal Couch – after all opposites do attract.

Stay tuned for more interior frenzy from my new home.

Posso presentarvi i miei due nuovi migliori amici?

Vi presento la nuova cassettiera di Greta (aka Miss Drawer) e il suo compagno Mr. Old School Radio. Sono stati fra i primi ad entrare nel mio nuovo appartamento ad Oldenburg, a nord della Germania, qualche settimana fa. Avevano cosi´ tanto freddo e si sentivano tanto soli in quella fredda Domenica di Novembre alla fiera delle pulci, ho dovuto salvarli e portarli a casa. Mi sento quasi un’eroina.

Non li adorate anche voi?

Probabilmente non dormiranno nella stessa stanza – Miss Drawer potrebbe dare il benvenuto ai nostri ospiti in corridoio mentre Mr. Radio ci donera´ del buon sano jazz in salotto. Ma a loro non importa, basta che stanno sotto lo stesso tetto :-)

Non vedo l’ora di farli conoscere alla Sig.ra Cucina Moderna e al Sig. Divano Minimal – alla fine gli opposti si attraggono.

Tornate a trovarmi presto per scoprire come va a finire.

Welcome to Greta’s Drawer. So glad this is finally happening!

The blog name is a metaphor reflecting my never-ending love for all things fashion. Just like a drawer, you’ll discover bits and bites of what inspires me daily – from the glossiest pieces of editorial, to my latest fashion buys/looks, to vintage items I randomly stumble upon..basically whatever is fabulous.

See it as a very unique fashion tour. The end destination: my very own walk-in closet.

Benvenuti su Greta’s Drawer (la cassettiera di Greta). Sono stra-felice di essere riuscita a fare questo passo!

Il nome del blog è una metafora che riflette il mio amore senza fine per tutto cio che è moda. Come una cassettiera, scoprirete quello che mi ispira giorno dopo giorno – dagli editoriali piu sbrillucicosi, ai miei ultimi acquisti/look, ai pezzi vintage che trovo per casualita in giro..insomma tutte le cose fabulous.
